Unit DescriptionPosition Summary The Vice President, Strategy and Planning provides overall direction to the strategic planning functional area of the business. She/he will be focused on achievement of business growth objectives in support of the enterprise strategic goals and will serve as a dedicated resource to the Health Care Market specifically. This role will report to the Senior Vice President, Strategy for Sodexo North America with indirect reporting to the Market President for Health Care. Although the position reports indirectly to the Market President, it will serve as a key member of and strongly affiliate with the Health Care Market senior leadership team.She/he supports the business in defining and developing the market?s capacity for enhancing client and customer value proposition and by extension growth. Additionally, the executive is responsible for an effective strategic planning function inclusive of; strategic assessment, analysis, synthesis and consultation to executive management for delivery of improved decision-making, strategic planning and choices / tradeoffs, and business operations planning and execution. The VP, Strategic Planning establishes long-term goals and strategic objectives of the Market by identifying the critical needs of the overall business with added focus on sub-segmentation and product and offer development based on client needs and strategy implementation.
